What do you do when you’ve got an over abundance of zucchini. You make a bunch of muffins and hold a fund raiser of course! Thank you to everyone who came out and bought muffins and coffee. You’re continued support is appreciated.  

Did you know that every hero has a story? The kids have had a fun few weeks learn about all kinds of hero’s. They learned that we have Hero’s right here in Hankinson, the firefighters came to visit too. Of course there are our favorite super hero’s we can read about in books also.  Here’s a few pictures of some activities we’ve done so far.  

The library board is seeking applicants to fill two library board positions opening this July. 

Those interested in applying can find applications at the Hankinson Public Library. Please complete and have applications turned in by Friday June 19th to be considered. 

Looking for positive and motivated individuals to add to a great group working to make the Library a destination in the city of Hankinson!

New arrivals have been filling the shelves again. New titles for adults, young adults, and children have been purchased and are ready to be checked out. 

Summer Reading Program is quickly approaching. Please take a moment to fill out your registration at the library. Sessions begin June 4th!  

The library is ready to be open to the public once again. Flooring is done, walls are painted and shelving is up; now all we need is for all our wonderful patrons to start visiting again.
