More excitement around the library as the carpet has been laid and we are ready to move on to the next step of getting our shelves put back. Here are a few photos for your enjoyment. I will update again soon! 

The excitement continues as we have cleared out the library and are prepping for carpet. I hope you enjoy a few pictures I snapped today. 



The Friends of the Hankinson Library would like to invite you to a night of fun, friends, and painting. Proceeds will go towards a great program, Imagination Library! 





What an exciting time for everyone involved. We shut our doors Friday the 27th at 1 pm and will be working hard to make this transition easy for everyone involved. Stay tuned for updates and pictures to follow. 



We are dedicated to continuing our programming during the time in which we will be closed for our remodel. Story Hour will continue as scheduled. It will be held in the meeting room, located upstairs, in the City Hall/Library building. 

Please join the Friends of the Library for their second annual omelet breakfast. Sunday, March 8th, from 9 am to 1 pm at the Hankinson Community Center. 



We are nearing the completion of the libraries remodel. To finish the last bit of our remodel we will have to temporarily close the doors to the public. Our librarian will be working on finishing our automated system during this time. It’s a very exciting time for us as a community, to have this location and services online and available to you soon. We look forward to better serving you in the near future! 

Storybook Hour will continue during our closure. We will be holding this program in the upstairs meeting room in City Hall. Located in the same building as the Library. 

Friday, February 27th we will be open until 1 pm as usual, then closed until further notice. Updates will be posted throughout our closure. Check our website often for pictures and updates. 



We are excited to once again be able to do this fun event. The Scholastic Book Fair allows the library to purchase new children’s and young adult books for the library. Scholastic books are good quality, at a reasonable price!

Hankinson Public Library would like to welcome our new librarian Sara Gregor. Sara has lived in the area her entire life, born and raised in Wahpeton, ND. Sara is the mother of four children ages 12, 9, 8, and 7. She enjoys working with all age groups and is excited to get started. Sara looks forward to getting to know the people of Hankinson. Stop in and say hello and introduce yourself!
